Semi-Universal Dividing Head BS-1
The Semi-Universal Dividing Head BS-1 is a high-precision machining tool designed for accurate angular division and indexing of workpieces in milling, drilling, and gear-cutting operations. The head supports direct, indirect, and differential dividing methods with a 40:1 worm-to-worm gear ratio, allowing for precise positioning. The hardened and ground spindle is supported by taper roller bearings, while the swivel head can be locked at any angle from 10° below horizontal to 90° vertical for versatile setups. It features a threaded spindle nose and a 24-hole dividing plate for quick direct indexing on common divisions like 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, and 24. The indexing head enables easy indexing for all numbers from 2 to 50 and many up to 380, making it suitable for professional trades and industrial applications.
