Credits & Licensing
Credits are HP Tuners’ currency used to purchase a license for the modules in your vehicle (ECM/PCM, and sometimes TCM/other modules). The credit amount depends on your vehicle.
- Universal Credits are required to license your vehicle/module(s) for tuning.
- Most vehicles require 2–6 credits, depending on the vehicle and supported modules.
- Many vehicles are (2) credits for ECM/PCM, with additional credits possible for TCM/other modules.
- Confirm exact requirements using the HP Tuners Supported Vehicle List.
Digital Item Policy: Universal Credits are a digital item and are non-refundable once processed/applied.
