The 992.1 Carrera family wraps a brilliant 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six in an exhaust tuned for quiet compliance. That stock center canister and dense routing soak up character and add backpressure that blunts mid-range response. Our system deletes the muffler entirely and replaces it with a precision center X-pipe flanked by tuned side-branch (Helmholtz) resonators—a motorsport layout that cleans the tone and kills drone without stuffing the flow through packing material. The result is a factory+ soundtrack: crisp and exotic under load, composed and conversation-friendly at cruise.

Design & Sound (what you see in the photos)

  • True Center X-Pipe: The crossover sits right where both banks meet, equalizing pressure and timing pulses for a smoother, higher-clarity note and better scavenging as revs rise.

  • Two Side-Branch Resonators (no mufflers): Those golden cylindrical branches are Helmholtz chambers tuned to cancel the dominant cabin-boom frequencies of the 992 (low-rpm, high-load). You get aggression outside, without the inside drone.

  • Straight-Through Tail Sections with PSE Brackets: The rear tubes are unpacked and free-flowing and retain factory PSE valve actuator mounts, so you keep OEM valve behavior (or add our remote kit on non-PSE cars).

  • Pack-free durability: With zero muffler packing to degrade, the tone stays consistent and heat management improves.

Materials & Craftsmanship

  • Available in AISI 304 stainless steel or heat-treated titanium (as pictured).

  • 3D-scanned for exact underbody geometry; CNC-machined flanges and brackets.

  • Mandrel bends maintain cross-section; back-purged TIG welds keep the internal surface smooth for velocity and crack resistance.

Performance — realistic expectations

On the 992.1 3.0TT, a high-flow, muffler-less X-pipe cat-back typically yields ~+8–12 whp / +8–12 lb-ft with noticeably sharper transient response (more with sport cats and a calibration). The big win here is sound quality + weight reduction versus the large OEM center canister.
